The effects of filler procedures vary from person to person but generally last between 6–18 months.
Frequently Asked Questions
Mild pain and discomfort in the first 2–3 days after surgery is normal. You can control this pain with the painkillers recommended by your doctor.
It is expected to have slight bleeding from the nose in the form of leakage during the first few days after surgery, so do not worry. If the bleeding becomes severe, it is advisable to contact your doctor.
You may experience a feeling of nasal congestion after surgery. Once the nasal tampons we place inside are removed, your breathing will become easier. During this period, using nasal sprays as recommended will significantly reduce your symptoms.
Antibiotic: 1 tablet in the morning and evening after meals (for 7 days)
Painkiller: 1 tablet in the morning and evening after meals (only if you feel pain)
Sea water spray: Morning, noon, and evening, 3 puffs into each nostril (for 1 month, both while tampons are in and after they are removed)
Iliadin spray: Morning, noon, and evening, 1 puff (only after tampons are removed, for 5 days)
St. John’s Wort oil, Thiociline eye cream: Apply 3 times a day to both nostrils and stitches (for 2 weeks)
Bromelain: Once in the morning after meals (for 1 month)
Nostril retainer device: If recommended by your doctor, start using it the first day after surgery. It may be difficult to use during the first 2 weeks while tampons are in, but you can use it after they are removed. For the first 2 weeks, wear it all day except during meals. Afterwards, wear it only at night for the next 2 weeks.
Your nasal tampons will be removed on the 7th day at the hospital. This procedure is generally painless and causes no discomfort.
