Dr. Taha Karan is a well-equipped physician specializing in Facial Surgery, with significant national and international experience. He began his professional career at Istanbul University’s Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and subsequently completed his Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases residency at Istanbul University’s Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, earning his specialist title.

Throughout his education, he gained significant academic experience not only in Turkey but also abroad. In 2016, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Iowa, Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and in 2023, he served as an observer physician at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. These experiences allowed him to closely follow current developments in his field and to work with different patient groups.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Taha Karan focuses on facial surgery, combining functional and aesthetic approaches based on scientific evidence and individualized patient planning. He delivers diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical care with a patient-centered approach, guided by ethical principles and a commitment to patient safety, while closely following current medical advancements.
